Germany's first children's hospice - the hospice Sonnenhof in Berlin's Pankow district - is pleased over a donation of 2400 euros from the Park Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz. The sum was produced over the last few weeks during the spectacular Balcony Dinner event, together with the brand "Absolut Vodka".
Björn Jürgen Schulz, initiator of the Björn-Schulz endowment and supporter of the hospice, gratefully accepted the check. In addition, the children's hospice received donations in kind in the form of water glasses, thermos bottles and terry towels. The donation drive was part of "Responsible Business Month" put on by Rezidor, during which employees of the hotel company initiate charitable and environmentally conscious projects. Thomas Hattenberger, director of the four-star superior hotel is sold on the endowment's efforts: "An organization that is worth mobilizing for. We consciously chose the children's hospice Sonnenhof, visited them personally and know that our donation is in the best of hands there."
