For the fourth time, German world champion and repeated winner of the "Empire State Building Run Up" Thomas Dold (24) won the "Sky Run Berlin" while setting a new record. At the stair run event on Whit Monday held for the fourth time at the Park Inn Berlin-Alexanderplatz, participants had to run up the 39 stories of the 150-meter high, four-star superior hotel. Dold needed 3.09 minutes to climb the 770 steps and capture the final victory in the first series competition "Run2Sky Europe". Daniela Vassalli won gold for the women with a time of 4.14 minutes and 12-year-old Marie-Fee Breyer won first prize in the Run2Sky. As part of the event, the 3rd German Fire Department Championships were also held, in which the distance was covered as a team and carrying 30 kg of equipment. All in all, 276 runners reached the goal on the rooftop terrace of the Park Inn Berlin-Alexanderplatz.
